Prabhata samgiita is a body of 5018 songs composed by Shri Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar, the founder-president of the Ananda Marga movement.It is distinctly new school in the world of music,rich in lyrical import,heart- regaling melody and rhythm,and perfect diction.This marathon composition began at Deoghar Bihar,on September 14,1982and was completed by by october 20,1990-a period of only eight years.Each song has a distinctive identity of its own.Prabhat Samgiita is now a distant Gharana (school of music) with its own characteristic style.
